In astronautics, when building a space station, its parts are separately launched into orbit and assembled there. This requires precise design capabilities and accurate machining of all surfaces where the parts join.
The same is true of the case-in-case structure of MINASE watches.
The case of each MINASE watch is produced by assembling multiple detachable parts, embodying unprecedented, innovative approaches, entailing state-of-the-art cutting and polishing techniques to achieve exactly what is required by the drawings in the order of 1/1,000 mm.
While each of MINASE’s case-in-case watches such as SEVEN WINDOWS, HORIZON, DIVIDO, MIDSIZE HORIZON, and MIDSIZE DIVIDO has a slightly different structure, the fundamental concept is the same.
Each of these watches has a structure consisting of a case back, an inner case for the movement, a dial with a beautifully curved surface, and an index ring fastened atop the dial, with a second case encapsulating all the rest.
This original case-in-case structure, which entails assembling Sallaz-polished parts to produce an integral, brilliant finish, has won MINASE watches many global accolades.
